Montessori is more than just an education, it is a philosophy of life.

Enrichment Programs

We enrich our curriculum with additional staff specialists: Mr. Jim McCutcheon, M.M.Ed, “The Guitar Man,” a Physical Education teacher and a Spanish language teacher. Additional enrichment classes available at our Acosta Street location include Art/Clay; Creative Development (which incorporate "brain gym" activities and dance arranged to music), Pre-school Spanish and Suzuki Piano lessons.

We interact with and support our community organizations by visiting facilities or inviting local naturalists and artisans to share their expertise with our children. These include the Aullwood Audubon Center & Farm, Bonnybrook Farms, Boonshoft Museum of Discovery, Carriage Hill Farm, Children's Theatre from both Sinclair Community College and the University of Dayton, Dayton Art Institute, Dayton Ballet, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra youth programs, Glen Helen Nature Center, Kettering Parks and Recreation facilities, Kettering Skateworld, Irish Academy of Celtic Dance, Sunwatch Indian Village, Victoria Theatre Association and the Voyageur Puppets.
