Parent Connection
The mission of the Parent Connection is to enhance the sense of community at the school and to raise needed funds for school activities and building improvements. Activities of the Parents’ Connection include:
- Annual book fairs, which generate funds to enhance our school libraries
- The annual Family Picnic and the Family Heritage event
- Family events, such as the mother son and father daughter dances, movie nights and more
- Sponsoring and producing parent education events and social events
- Special fund raising events such as our holiday coffee and fair trade sale
- Identify and post volunteer opportunities for parents to get involved
The Parent Connection welcomes the participation and input from parents, grandparents, staff and children. There are many different ways to get involved:
- Attend meetings, social events and gatherings to get to know other parents and faculty members
- Join a committee and help plan an event
- Volunteer for a field trip, in the school library or in another area of interest
